Unlocking Creativity since 1998

As with all creative problem solving, filmmaking is a multi-step puzzle - the complexities of which are often concealed.

The Sidewalk Film Festival is an integral piece of that puzzle providing a platform to create connections, showcase work, and build community.

Through 2d and 3D animation we created a complex and beautiful backdrop to reveal sponsor names utilizing a custom alphabet cipher. Taking it a step further, we challenged the audience to crack the code. We left hints in the program book, in a cryptic t-shirt, and in colorful sidewalk-chalk stencils. Attendees used those breadcrumbs to solve the cipher on a one-of-a-kind website for the chance to win prizes.

The program ad, landing page, t-shirts, and stencils all left clues for festival attendees to explore. From rough sketch to the real world, it’s amazing to see ideas jump off the page.

My role included initial concept development, pitch, direction, 2D animation
