Sidewalk Film Festival - Opening Credits 2015/2016

Filmmaking is an arduous task. What may be perceived as glamorous, in actuality is a tough and stressful business. For this opening credit sequence, we wanted to pay respect to the individuals and teams that craft a film by focusing on the beauty hidden in the details of the tools of the trade. By using macro cinematography we took a romantic look and these utilitarian objects. Additional footage of teams in action was provided by filmmakers across the country and I particularly enjoy the team that battles a dust storm while shooting the desert.

In 2016, we recut this piece to simplify and integrate more graphic elements to compliment the branding for that year’s festival.
